They come with an insert for people with high arches which is nice, or you can take them out if you are more flat footed. They are light, strong and comfortable. They are pretty well built....however the white striping on the side of the shoes started to fall off maybe 8 months in after heavy use even though the shoe itself felt and looked fine otherwise... I glued them back on... then the "tip" of the sole started to peal back maybe 14 months in, which I glued back with Gorilla glue, again, overall the shoe still felt fine and it was only a cosmetic issue. They could make the glue stronger with the stripes, and the tip of the sole in my opinion.... but in healthcare we use the toe end of our shoe all the time to "steady" beds, gurnies, doors, wheelchairs, etc) ... but overall? I think I've had these shoes pushing 2 years now working in an emergency room, plus using them for jogging in my off days, they have undergone VERY HEAVY use.... these shoes have seen literally thousands of miles of walking/jogging over ball park 20 months...and finally the sole is flat and uncomfortable with heavy use. I just ordered a second pair after almost 2 years of blowing through and running out the first pair with my only complaints being cosmetic with heavy use that can be fixed easily to carry on another 6 months to a year.
